Anki Flashcard App

This is an awesome flash card app that implements a space-separated algorithm to determine how often to show you a card in order to move information from your short-term memory to long-term memory. It's incredibly useful and essential for learning and memorisation. Can't recommend this enough.

Duolingo

Duolingo has completely fleshed out and built courses. The learning path is very much pre-determined, so there is less freedom, and the learning is quite repetitive, but it helps develop your vocabulary and listening/reading skills. It's a good starter in building your fundamentals.

Memrise

Memrise is quite versatile compared to Duolingo, in that others have the freedom to create and share their own courses with custom content. For example, I have been using a course based off a textbook that has implemented both audio and visual cues to help you learn the words and its sound.

Lingodeer

This is one I have recently started looking into, as a lot of people have recommend this, especially for Eastern languages. It seems to have a nice interface and isn't too demanding like Duolingo or Memrise in that it doesn't try to force you in with streaks. It's more self-directed in learning and encouraging in a comforting manner.
